PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Dear Parents, Family Members and Education Professionals, Welcome to the Orange Special Education PTA website! We are a group of parents and education professionals committed to improving the lives of children affected by disabilities and the lives of their family members. We are working to provide educational support for parents and family members and education professionals, on special education law, available support services (private and public), therapies, assessment tools and other topics identified by our members. Additionally we offer emotional support to the entire family by providing organized parent support groups and opportunities for social events for children, both typical and non-typical. Our goal is to positively affect the community of special needs families through education and support and to increase the general community's understanding, appreciation and acceptance of these unique children and their families.
